Z-GLIDE EQUIPPED
The Z-Glide Reduced Friction Neck (patented) gives players a feel that cannot be achieved by any other guitar. The precision laser engraving reduces surface area thus reducing friction between the hand and the guitar neck. Your hand only comes in contact with 30% of the necks surface...the rest is air. Players instantly notice the improved playability and feel. Designed by Dean Zelinsky this patented concept is exclusive to Dean Zelinsky Private Label Guitars.
UNIQUE SINGLE CUT BODY
The Zenyatta's body is made of a full 1-1/2” thick Mahogany/Maple body which tappers to a mere 1/2" along its ultra-thin edge. The wide surface area of the top lends to an extremely resonant guitar while the pulled back Stop Tail Piece reduces string tension, creating an incredible easy, great sounding guitar.
Every body is carefully hand-carved and sanded, and capped with nicely figured Flame Maple Veneer. This guitar is very comfortable with weight ranging from 7.0 – 8.0 lb.
All bodies have a high gloss finish and a natural binding scrape exposing the maple edge with an additional 2.5mm scrape on the top of the body...a feature found on many Custom Shop Guitars and never before offered in guitars at this price range.
SIGNATURE DZPL PICKUPS
The Dean Zelinsky Private Label Humbucking Pickups are higher output but designed to still achieve those clean warm tones and be very articulate in the lower register. Controls are a master volume and master tone with a coil tap for both pickups.
NECK PROFILE
Zenyatta Custom necks are made of mahogany with Dean Zelinsky’s signature slight 'V' profile; eliminating wood where your hand comes in most contact with the neck. The neck is seamlessly contoured into the heel, another of Dean's signature feature over the years. Zenyatta's are designed with Dean Zelinsky’s nearly four decades of experience, creating guitars that are effortless to play.
LOCKING TUNERS
Locking Tuners with a 20:1 ratio are a standard feature. Headstocks feature a rosewood veneer with Dean Zelinsky’s signature logo in a bright nickel finish.
